Folding Bumper

Insufficient Shaft Areas Solutions;
The folding bumper is designed in accordance with the additional measures to be taken to reduce the gaps at the bottom of the shaft under the conditions required by the EN81-21 Standard. It is used in cases where the required shelter area dimensions cannot be provided at the bottom of the shaft required by the EN81-20 standard.
Maintenance personnel entering the well fully open these buffers to ensure a safe working area. The bumpers provide a safe working area for the pit top spacing when used as counterweights and for the pit bottom spacing when used in the cabin.
Folding Bumper Table Installation And Operation Principle
- The folding bumper table is screwed to the floor through the connecting slots and fixed to a convenient place at the bottom of the elevator shaft.
- The electrical switch connection of the fixed table is made.
- During operation, the operator must pull up the Locking Lever on the table and move the table to the Safe Working Position. In this position, the switch cuts off the electricity and provides the operator with living space against the problems that may occur.
- When the operation is finished, the lift will be active when the operator takes the table to the Normal Position.

2 panel and 3 panel telescopic Skirt Sheet are designed that meet the requirements of EN81-21 standard. It is used in cases where the required shelter area sizes cannot be provided at the bottom of the well required by the EN81-20 standard.
